Asking Questions Effectively and Making the most of the Answers. A Personal Guide to Asking Questions

Asking questions is a tricky road. They are not the only way to obtain the information you require,  but often we get into a mindset where we instinctively ask a question as soon as it comes up in our mind. Asking questions almost always influences your image in the other person's mind. The perception that they take away from your questions and the way you ask them is not always what you expect.
Here are a few tips I've amassed from my experience.

  1. Never ask a question in vain. When you ask a question be ready to accept its answer as new information, then your only duty at that point is to assimilate that information in your mind, if you go about asking a question expecting a certain answer. Then you shouldn't have asked that question in the first place. It will not only be a useless endeavor, but it will also give the other person the impression that you are just looking for an excuse to argue.
  2. Exhaust all sources of information before asking another person.“Google it!” is the command to give yourself when you are about to ask someone something. Google doesn't judge, it doesn't argue and it is always present.
  3. Make it easy for the other person to answer your question. Ask the question to clarify your confusion, don't try to explain your confusion. You want to cut your own confusion not ask a confusing question.
  4. Never ask a question of someone who you don't respect enough to take their answer respectfully and consider it a contribution and be thankful. If you consider the other person a fool or not intelligent enough, then asking them a question makes you a bigger fool.
  5. Be specific and concise. Don't drag your question on. Over explanation is counterproductive in this case. Don't expect that the more you explain the finer tuned an answer you will receive. It's your job to get a specific answer and then fit it inside your head to answer the bigger question. If you don't understand your question well enough, no answer will be clear enough.
  6. Realize what you need to know to answer the bigger question yourself, instead of asking the bigger question itself.
  7. Understand that a lot of the information present in the world (Apart from the facts) has more or less personal perspective mixed in. In order to get the most satisfaction from the answer you need to mull over the acquired information in your own mind. Reach a conclusion yourself. Expecting ready made opinions is a sure fire way to ignorance.

The best way to unblock Youtube

I found an amazing way to unblock YouTube in Pakistan without Hotspot shield and other VPN's full of ads.All of those who have used Hotspot shield know that it is full of ads and has a tendency to open internet explorer every few minutes.

The way i found is

From their own website
Tor is free software and an open network that helps you defend against a form of network surveillance that threatens personal freedom and privacy, confidential business activities and relationships, and state security known as traffic analysis
It is an opensource browser (Based on firefox ) which actually encrypts your whole internet traffic by using servers owned by volunteers all over the world ,you can even volunteer yourself. the best part of it is that it doesn't only unblock YouTube but also everything else. Specially useful for our friends in Pakistan (Where YouTube is banned and god knows for how long it will stay banned).

This is the only truly free and legal way to surf the internet anonymously. Cheers

If you run into some problems with its usage let me know ill update the post to inculde a guide for its usage.

Do let us know your experience with it in the comments.

Teach your children to be thinkers not parrots

Teach your children to love learning, don't let them become part of a broken system. Teach them the value of ideas not  degrees. Teach then to understand not cram. Encourage them to fail honorably instead of playing the system to succeed. Think of what kind of people the world needs instead of what kind of people the world wants. Educate them to free them, don't enslave their minds. Encourage creativity and individuality instead of uniformity and conformity.
I beg you to think for your children's minds and souls instead of their future wallets and financial security.
They deserve this much. this world needs them to be like that.

We invent ourselves

I saw a dream today. throughout the dream i was searching for something it was a rather long dream,,with a  lot of action too :P but in the end something amazing happened, when i finally found it . It was a golden room and when i opened the door there was a blackboard in it and on the board it was written "You invent your own self".i was so happy to have finally found the treasure. Then i woke up and though for a long long time that perhaps it actually was something we we need to learn,
We often take for granted the things which are inside our minds, we take our ideas for granted underestimate them, don't give them breathing room. We take our opinions and beliefs and passions for granted. In-fact those things are our only real assets.
