How to be a good muslim Husband

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you]

Yesterday, as I was surfing the net to read something about marital relationship in Islam, I found this nice article I want to share with you all: How To Be a Good Muslim Husband

Here's an article detailing the important things which Muslim men (or any man) should do as imperative duties and obligations towards their wives. these tips are being suggested while bearing in mind the specific dangers and risks that married individuals face, as a couple, in today's day and age.

Forced Marriages are Un-Islamic

Assalaamu alaikum [Peace be to you],

Today, I'd like to talk a little about marriage. some people see forced marriages happening in some Muslim families and they conclude that this kind of practice is religiously acceptable in Islam. let's have a look at what Islam has to say in this...

Why Do I Wear Hijab?

BY Sultana Yusuf Ali

I probably do not fit into the preconceived notion of a “rebel”. I have no visible tattoos and minimal piercing. I do not possess a leather jacket. In fact, when most people look at me, their first thought usually is something along the lines of “oppressed female.” The brave individuals who have mustered the courage to ask me about the way I dress usually have questions like: “Do your parents make you wear that?” or “Don’t you find that really unfair?”

I love my Hijab

By Naheed Mustafa

MULTICULTURAL VOICES: A Canadian-born Muslim woman has taken to wearing the traditional hijab scarf. It tends to make people see her as either a terrorist or a symbol of oppressed womanhood, but she finds the experience LIBERATING.

Islam The Way of Nature, Protect our Environment

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

Again, I'd like to talk about the environment.

What does ISLAM teach us about the environment?
Islam teaches us that the God is One.
The God has almighty power over everything; all life is created by Him and belongs to Him. the God has given human beings a higher status than all other living creatures on earth. he has given humans the important role of stewardship over all animals and plant life. The Arabic word for stewardship is خلافة Khilaafah.
Muslims believe that looking after the planet is a great responsibility and a test from the God. This responsibility is a trust between the God and humankind. The Arabic word for trust is أمانة Amanah.

Make the Earth Green 2

In the previous part http://positivepakistani.blogspot.com/2012/10/make-earth-green-1.html  I made a claim that Islam is the solution of all environment troubles. and I started explaining how it can help solve these problems.

I said the God created the Earth and he owns it. he put man as a Khalifah on Earth and gave him a mission.
Vicegerency and trusteeship place upon humankind the responsibility to safeguard the rights not only of his fellow humans but also of nature and other inhabitants of the earth. Man’s vicegerency on the earth is, moreover, complemented by that of servantship towards his creator. Man is God’s
servant and must obey Him.
Vicegerency contemplates a man-earth relationship that looks toward sustainable utilization of earth’s resources. Vicegerency is also premised in accountability and faithful observance of trust that demand the promotion of good and the prevention of evil, building the earth and establishing a just order therein. There are two principles that guarantee this big task: justice and the doing of good.

Make the Earth Green 1

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

today, I'd like to talk a little about nature.

The protection of environment from pollution and the preservation of natural resources are one of the major issues that attract a great deal of attention today. This attention is even more justified now that this aggressive onslaught on nature and its pollution have reached dangerous levels that threaten the existence of 80% of the animal and plant life in temperate regions, in addition to the dangerous risks that beset man’s health as a result of the pollution of water, air and soil and which cause serious diseases, cancer included. However, these international conventions and local legislative texts have so far failed to curb the ongoing aggression against nature, thus creating the need to search for other ways and means, relating to man’s conscience and faith, to solve the problems of environment. This may surprise some of you, but the solution to all environment problems is in our hand. and it was always there. it's Islam.

Islam, The Way of Nature

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

The most fundamental belief that a Muslim has is that "There is only One God," the Creator, the Sustainer - known in the Arabic language as Allah.

Pious women are for Pious Men

A sahabi married to a very beautiful sahaabiyya, were very pious and happy together. The wife always noticed that the husband would wake up & drink a glass of water,so 1 day,as he was about to get up,she brought a glass of water & stood by him, waiting for him to get up. When he opened his eyes & saw her,he became so happy that he told her to ask any wish from him,& he would fulfil it. So she asked… : “are you sure you will fulfil any wish I ask for?” . He promised her he would. So she answered ’ I want a TALAAQ. ‘
He was immediately overcome with extreme grief & said to her : ’ let us go to Nabi (sawlallaahu alayhi wa sallam) & he will decide the matter. They set off & on their way,he fell & cut his leg. She bent down, tore a piece of cloth from her clothes & wrapped it around his wound. As he stood up to go on, she said ’ No,I don’t want a talaaq anymore. Let us go back. ’ … They returned home but he was still extremely confused so he asked her why she wanted a talaaq.(Divorce)..
She said : ’you always told me that Allah tests a person proportionate to His love for them. When I saw you so happy with no difficulties,I became afraid that Allah might not be pleased with you,& I did not want to love someone whom Allah dO not love. But when you said you wanted to go to Rasulullah (sawlallaahu alayhi wa sallam) I doubted myself, because if you did not love Allah, why would you approach His Messenger (sawlallaahu alayhi wa sallam) as the first avenue? When you fell and cut your leg,I realised this is also a difficulty & a test & that Allah, most certainly, loves you.POSTED BY UZER.. — with Nurul Delvi Mawaddah.

Lower you gaze

Quran [24:30] Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

An APPEAL to all Knowledgeable Muslims regarding Fraudulent Hadith Collection and Quran

I have come across this website http://one-islam.org by a certain Frank O’Collins who also owns another website  http://one-heaven.org and http://www.onejerusalem.org/ on his first website he has narrated a collection of Hadith narrated by 'HIMSELF'.And a lot of hadith directly contradict the well known and Shahih Hadith of Shahihs which brings me to the conclusion that this hadith collection cannot be considered authentic Fraudulent Hadith Collection. Furthermore he claims he recieved revelations from Allah and that they didn't stop after Prophet Muhammad PBUH also he has made a Covenant and in his fake revelations he says that all true Muslims should follow it He also goes ahead and calls all other hadith collections and Islamic Law false and abolishes it,this website is very dangerous because its high on Google and,no one knows what is their original agenda is.Read more.....

Some signs of the coming of the Day of judgment from

Some of the signs of the coming of Yaum-id-deen [The Day of Judgment]:

- People will claim to follow the Qur'an but will reject hadith & sunnah (Abu Dawood)

- When the last ones of the Ummah begin to curse the first ones (at-Tirmidhi)

- 'Abd Allah said, "The Prophet said, 'Just before the Hour, there will be
days in which knowledge will disappear and ignorance will appear, and
there will be much killing.' " (Ibn Majah; also narrated by Bukhari and
Muslim, from the Hadith of al-A'mash.)

- "...The Prophet said, 'The Hour will come when leaders are oppressors, when people believe in the stars and reject al-Qadar (the Divine Decree of destiny) when a trust becomes a way of making a profit, when people give to charity (Sadaqah) reluctantly, when adultery becomes widespread - when this happens, then your people will

- Anas ibn Malik said, The Prophet was asked, O Messenger of Allah, (what
will happen) when we stop enjoining good and forbidding evil? He said,
When what happened to the Israelites happens among you: when fornication
becomes widespread among your leaders, knowledge is in the hands of the
lowest of you, and power passes into the hands of the least of you. (Ibn

- 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar said, "The Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) came
to us and said, 'O Muhajirun, (emigrants from Makkah to al-Madinah) you
may be afflicted by five things; God forbid that you should live to see
them. If fornication should become widespread, you should realize that
this has never happened without new diseases befalling the people which
their forebears never suffered. If people should begin to cheat in
weighing out goods, you should realize that this has never happened
without drought and famine befalling the people, and their rulers
oppressing them. If people should withhold Zakat, you should realize that
this has never happened without the rain being stopped from falling; and
were it not for the animals' sake, it would never rain again. If people
should break their covenant with Allah and His Messenger, you should
realize that his has never happened without Allah sending an enemy against
them to take some of their possessions by force. If the leaders do not
govern according to the Book of Allah, you should realize that this has
never happened without Allah making them into groups and making them fight
one another." (Ibn Majah).
