Salaat and Music

If you ask me what is the opposite of salaat then i will say Music. Just as salaat is when you immerse yourself into Allah, Music is immersing your self into else, Just as salaat keeps you away from evil and misdeeds, Music brings you closer. Just as salaat helps you understand the deen, Music makes you forget it..

Status, Personality and Character

Times have changed,,, In old times status mattered now a days personality matters.
In those days Prince Charming had to be a Prince.
Now a days Prince Charming has to be Charming
I am just waiting for the days when Character will matter, Instead of status or personality. Then i will be a prince in my own right.

How to be a good muslim Husband

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you]

Yesterday, as I was surfing the net to read something about marital relationship in Islam, I found this nice article I want to share with you all: How To Be a Good Muslim Husband

Here's an article detailing the important things which Muslim men (or any man) should do as imperative duties and obligations towards their wives. these tips are being suggested while bearing in mind the specific dangers and risks that married individuals face, as a couple, in today's day and age.

Forced Marriages are Un-Islamic

Assalaamu alaikum [Peace be to you],

Today, I'd like to talk a little about marriage. some people see forced marriages happening in some Muslim families and they conclude that this kind of practice is religiously acceptable in Islam. let's have a look at what Islam has to say in this...

Why Do I Wear Hijab?

BY Sultana Yusuf Ali

I probably do not fit into the preconceived notion of a “rebel”. I have no visible tattoos and minimal piercing. I do not possess a leather jacket. In fact, when most people look at me, their first thought usually is something along the lines of “oppressed female.” The brave individuals who have mustered the courage to ask me about the way I dress usually have questions like: “Do your parents make you wear that?” or “Don’t you find that really unfair?”

I love my Hijab

By Naheed Mustafa

MULTICULTURAL VOICES: A Canadian-born Muslim woman has taken to wearing the traditional hijab scarf. It tends to make people see her as either a terrorist or a symbol of oppressed womanhood, but she finds the experience LIBERATING.

Islam The Way of Nature, Protect our Environment

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

Again, I'd like to talk about the environment.

What does ISLAM teach us about the environment?
Islam teaches us that the God is One.
The God has almighty power over everything; all life is created by Him and belongs to Him. the God has given human beings a higher status than all other living creatures on earth. he has given humans the important role of stewardship over all animals and plant life. The Arabic word for stewardship is خلافة Khilaafah.
Muslims believe that looking after the planet is a great responsibility and a test from the God. This responsibility is a trust between the God and humankind. The Arabic word for trust is أمانة Amanah.

Make the Earth Green 2

In the previous part http://positivepakistani.blogspot.com/2012/10/make-earth-green-1.html  I made a claim that Islam is the solution of all environment troubles. and I started explaining how it can help solve these problems.

I said the God created the Earth and he owns it. he put man as a Khalifah on Earth and gave him a mission.
Vicegerency and trusteeship place upon humankind the responsibility to safeguard the rights not only of his fellow humans but also of nature and other inhabitants of the earth. Man’s vicegerency on the earth is, moreover, complemented by that of servantship towards his creator. Man is God’s
servant and must obey Him.
Vicegerency contemplates a man-earth relationship that looks toward sustainable utilization of earth’s resources. Vicegerency is also premised in accountability and faithful observance of trust that demand the promotion of good and the prevention of evil, building the earth and establishing a just order therein. There are two principles that guarantee this big task: justice and the doing of good.

Make the Earth Green 1

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

today, I'd like to talk a little about nature.

The protection of environment from pollution and the preservation of natural resources are one of the major issues that attract a great deal of attention today. This attention is even more justified now that this aggressive onslaught on nature and its pollution have reached dangerous levels that threaten the existence of 80% of the animal and plant life in temperate regions, in addition to the dangerous risks that beset man’s health as a result of the pollution of water, air and soil and which cause serious diseases, cancer included. However, these international conventions and local legislative texts have so far failed to curb the ongoing aggression against nature, thus creating the need to search for other ways and means, relating to man’s conscience and faith, to solve the problems of environment. This may surprise some of you, but the solution to all environment problems is in our hand. and it was always there. it's Islam.

Islam, The Way of Nature

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

The most fundamental belief that a Muslim has is that "There is only One God," the Creator, the Sustainer - known in the Arabic language as Allah.

Pious women are for Pious Men

A sahabi married to a very beautiful sahaabiyya, were very pious and happy together. The wife always noticed that the husband would wake up & drink a glass of water,so 1 day,as he was about to get up,she brought a glass of water & stood by him, waiting for him to get up. When he opened his eyes & saw her,he became so happy that he told her to ask any wish from him,& he would fulfil it. So she asked… : “are you sure you will fulfil any wish I ask for?” . He promised her he would. So she answered ’ I want a TALAAQ. ‘
He was immediately overcome with extreme grief & said to her : ’ let us go to Nabi (sawlallaahu alayhi wa sallam) & he will decide the matter. They set off & on their way,he fell & cut his leg. She bent down, tore a piece of cloth from her clothes & wrapped it around his wound. As he stood up to go on, she said ’ No,I don’t want a talaaq anymore. Let us go back. ’ … They returned home but he was still extremely confused so he asked her why she wanted a talaaq.(Divorce)..
She said : ’you always told me that Allah tests a person proportionate to His love for them. When I saw you so happy with no difficulties,I became afraid that Allah might not be pleased with you,& I did not want to love someone whom Allah dO not love. But when you said you wanted to go to Rasulullah (sawlallaahu alayhi wa sallam) I doubted myself, because if you did not love Allah, why would you approach His Messenger (sawlallaahu alayhi wa sallam) as the first avenue? When you fell and cut your leg,I realised this is also a difficulty & a test & that Allah, most certainly, loves you.POSTED BY UZER.. — with Nurul Delvi Mawaddah.

Lower you gaze

Quran [24:30] Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.

An APPEAL to all Knowledgeable Muslims regarding Fraudulent Hadith Collection and Quran

I have come across this website http://one-islam.org by a certain Frank O’Collins who also owns another website  http://one-heaven.org and http://www.onejerusalem.org/ on his first website he has narrated a collection of Hadith narrated by 'HIMSELF'.And a lot of hadith directly contradict the well known and Shahih Hadith of Shahihs which brings me to the conclusion that this hadith collection cannot be considered authentic Fraudulent Hadith Collection. Furthermore he claims he recieved revelations from Allah and that they didn't stop after Prophet Muhammad PBUH also he has made a Covenant and in his fake revelations he says that all true Muslims should follow it He also goes ahead and calls all other hadith collections and Islamic Law false and abolishes it,this website is very dangerous because its high on Google and,no one knows what is their original agenda is.Read more.....

More than 40 Hadith about Women in Islam

A beautiful collection of Hadith (must read for women) by a fellow blogger, Link has been given in the end

1 : Woman’s Pray at Home is better than Going to Mosque

Narrated by Ibn ‘Umar: Allah’s Apostle said: “Do not prevent women (wives, mothers, daughters, sisters, etc) from (praying at) mosques. Yet, their prayer at home is better (for them).”

2 : Woman’s Freedom to Go out for their Needs

Narrated by ‘Aisha: Allah’s Apostle said: “You (women) have been allowed to go out for your needs.”

3 : Evils behind Unnecessary Socialising of Unveiled Women
Narrated by Ibn Mas’ud: Allah’s Apostle said: “(Unveiled) woman is a cause of corruption. Once she goes out Satan beautifies her in the eyes of men (to seduce her as well as them). At her home, she is the closest (to the face) of her Lord.”

Some signs of the coming of the Day of judgment from

Some of the signs of the coming of Yaum-id-deen [The Day of Judgment]:

- People will claim to follow the Qur'an but will reject hadith & sunnah (Abu Dawood)

- When the last ones of the Ummah begin to curse the first ones (at-Tirmidhi)

- 'Abd Allah said, "The Prophet said, 'Just before the Hour, there will be
days in which knowledge will disappear and ignorance will appear, and
there will be much killing.' " (Ibn Majah; also narrated by Bukhari and
Muslim, from the Hadith of al-A'mash.)

- "...The Prophet said, 'The Hour will come when leaders are oppressors, when people believe in the stars and reject al-Qadar (the Divine Decree of destiny) when a trust becomes a way of making a profit, when people give to charity (Sadaqah) reluctantly, when adultery becomes widespread - when this happens, then your people will

- Anas ibn Malik said, The Prophet was asked, O Messenger of Allah, (what
will happen) when we stop enjoining good and forbidding evil? He said,
When what happened to the Israelites happens among you: when fornication
becomes widespread among your leaders, knowledge is in the hands of the
lowest of you, and power passes into the hands of the least of you. (Ibn

- 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar said, "The Prophet (sallallahu alayhe wa sallam) came
to us and said, 'O Muhajirun, (emigrants from Makkah to al-Madinah) you
may be afflicted by five things; God forbid that you should live to see
them. If fornication should become widespread, you should realize that
this has never happened without new diseases befalling the people which
their forebears never suffered. If people should begin to cheat in
weighing out goods, you should realize that this has never happened
without drought and famine befalling the people, and their rulers
oppressing them. If people should withhold Zakat, you should realize that
this has never happened without the rain being stopped from falling; and
were it not for the animals' sake, it would never rain again. If people
should break their covenant with Allah and His Messenger, you should
realize that his has never happened without Allah sending an enemy against
them to take some of their possessions by force. If the leaders do not
govern according to the Book of Allah, you should realize that this has
never happened without Allah making them into groups and making them fight
one another." (Ibn Majah).

Are you Normal?

Are you Normal?

There are several types of people in this world

1: Who want to be "normal" like everyone else.

2: Who want everyone to be "normal" like themselves.

3: Who don't want to be "normal" like everyone at all.

4: Who don't care if the others consider them "Normal" or not.

The first kind will never be special

The second kind will always be resisted

The third kind will always be Outcasts

The fourth kind will always be special

Who do you want to be?

A few life lessons

A few interesting life lessons i learned over the years ( From my perspective )

  • Make fun of your best friends Because they know you dont mean it
  • Make friendly jokes around everyone else, Because most people don't like to laugh at jokes made at them.
  • Have enough courage to make jokes about yourself,Some will laugh at you,Some will laugh at the joke. Those that laugh at you will be the meanies, those who laugh at the joke are potential friends and you will know who is who soon enough.
  • Hide your compliments and criticisms in Jokes.
  • Life is weird, people do strange things, stranger things happen. It up to you if your find that funny or sad.life will always be eccentric.
  • Make jokes and say things that make you fun,Not Funny, Comedians are fun,Clowns are funny
  • Joke at the saddest most tragic things, and you will find them less so.
  • But most importantly never ever try to point out the sadness in things, people rather let them stay hidden.
  • Watch happy movies, Only morons love sad endings, avoid people who are addicted to sadness, infact slap them.
  • Concentrate on the good parts, life is too short to be concentrating on things that makes you unhappy.

Say NO to Countries

Countries are Imaginary

The only thing standing in the way of Human progress is NATIONALISM, as long as we keep dividing ourselves into countries we will never be free to embrace our combined humanity. There are millions of examples of atrocities committed in the name of countries.

What are countries anyway? Nothing but Imaginary borders!

Yet we go to such lengths to divide ourselves to stop the global human spirit to reach out to each other. Passports, Visa's and what-not.

We are all humans and nothing else when will we grow up from the thinking of " this is my side and that is your side"? when will we stop fighting over imaginary things? National Air space!!! National Waters!!! Is it so hard to see? is it so difficult to admit that countries are nothing, NOTHING!

We are are the SAME.

What do you think? Can we boycott countries? What can we do to rise above this pathetic thinking which is eating our race?

Optimism is the way of Islam

I often hear people saying that one should be clever and never trust too easily, But if you look closely then you will see that our whole society is getting paranoid and habitual negative thinkers;Examples like:" You trust too easily" "you think everyone is good" " You shouldn't help him, he is only fooling you" sound familiar? Have they forgotten the examples laid down by our beloved prophet?

Our prophet PBUH throughout his life showed us that we should never stop thinking positively ,we should never give up on people and we should never stop counting on the goodness of people. He didn't stop believing in the people of Taif. He didn't turn to negative thinking when he was in Quresh.

If you will always think of others apprehensively and with doubt then your heart will turn to stone and sooner then later you will be judging beggars and people who need your help. Don't let your heart turn to stone, don't lose that soft-heartedness, don't stop thinking of every stranger in good words. You are not fooling yourself you are just not letting go of your belief in humanity.

When you help someone and believe in their goodness you are just reinforcing your own capacity for love don't forget that by thinking of everyone in the negative terms only diminishes your own view of the world and capacity of being happy. Furthermore when you help someone only to make Allah happy then it doesn't make sense to judge them and think they are frauds, You are only helping them to make Allah happy and make your heart humble and to be thankful that he put you in a state where you can help someone.

If you love our prophet then shouldn't you also be following the values he demonstrated?

Holding anger

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The best of you are those who are slow to anger and swift to cool down...Beware of anger, for it is a live coal on the heart of the descendants of Adam." – (Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1331 )

"When one of you becomes angry while standing he should sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and good; otherwise he should lie down." (Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 5114 Narated By Abu Dharr R.A.)

It has been narrated by Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) That Allah's Messenger Muhammad (P.B.U.H ) Said: “The strong is not the one who over comes the people by his strength. But the strong is the one who controls himself while in anger."

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else ; you are the one who gets burned !!

My Religion got hijacked

You might be a Christian, Jew or Hindu, but for the following example let’s consider you are a Christian and construct a simple summary of Christianity.

Let’s say Christians follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Now for our example let’s take three of his teachings and say they are the core of Christianity, Let’s say; Compassion, peace and charity.

Now imagine a gang of hoodlums came and converted to Christianity, Imagine they are sons of rich and influential families and they don’t care so much for the three rules of Christ but instead try to find loopholes in the bible and then construct their own creed and name themselves “Ass-kickers for Christ” and start pillaging, warring and suing chaos. They make their own churches and places of assembly and beat up anyone that goes to churches not owned by them. They get a lot of media coverage and due to their active effort to sideline the actual Christians, the actual Christians are so obscured that whenever someone tells another that he/she is a Christian people say, “Ahhh so you are one of those ass kicker guys”.

Now the entire world thinks that Christianity stands for; warring, pillaging and chaos.

If anyone of the actual Christians tries to defend their values they are forced by the asskickers to shut up, if they don’t then they are declared heretics and liable to be killed by any asskicker who can manage it.

That is how my religion got hijacked.
I am a Muslim.

I hope this post helps you to understand our true struggle ,We are in a constant JIHAD against the ass kickers while the ass kickers call their chaos JIHAD.

(Just substitute Christianity for Islam, hazrat Issa ‘Jesus’ AS for Hazrat Muhammad PBUH, and Asskickers for Saudi oil princes and Wahabism).

For more details and actual facts about how they hijacked Islam read:  The Two Faces of Islam: The House of Sa'ud from Tradition to Terror. By Stephen Schwartz
